Birmingham Law School of University of Birmingham is offering a range of scholarships to applicants for its taught LLM programmes. Up to £5,000 scholarships are offered for international students (Non EU) and up to £2,000 for UK/EU students. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. Applicants must already have applied for admission to the LLM degree in the University. 

About Scholarship: For 2013 entry, Birmingham Law School will be offering a range of scholarships to applicants for its taught LLM programmes. Scholarships are not payable directly to successful applicants but are set off against the University fee invoice for 2013-2014 and will be transferred once successful applicants have paid the balance owed by them to the University. An LLM degree is a Taught Masters in Law. The programme takes one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) and involves the study of six specialist modules and a dissertation.

Selection Criteria: These LLM scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. 

Notification: Successful applicants will be notified in July 2013.

2013 Nottingham Law School Postgraduate Scholarships in UK

Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University offers Law School Postgraduate Scholarships. The students of UK/EU can apply for this scholarship. Five scholarships are offered. Total offer is of worth up to £2,000 off tuition fees. This scholarship is available for pursuing master’s in Law (LLM), Legal Practice Course (LPC), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). 

About Scholarship: Nottingham Law School offers a number of scholarships for our vocational courses and Masters in Law. These are competitive scholarships, worth up to £2,000 off tuition fees. We normally offer five scholarships for each course, for UK / EU students, on the LPC, BPTC, GDL and LLMs.

Notification: LLM- Round 1: applicants notified by 21 May 2013 and and Round 2: applicants notified by 20 August 2013.

-you have received an offer to study on one of the eligible courses

-that you have read and understood the terms and conditions

-that you have completed section one of the application form

-you have completed criteria one and criteria two of section two.

-Please return your completed scholarship application form and evidence that you have achieved a 2.1 or above (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree by sending a copy of your degree certificate or official university transcript to enquiries before the application deadline. 

Deadline: LLM- Round 1: 30 April 2013 (applicants notified by 21 May 2013) and Round 2: 30 July 2013 (applicants notified by 20 August 2013)
